2007 Queen’s visit
KES is one of the few state schools to have been honoured by TWO official visits by the Queen. The first was in January 1956, to mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Gaywood Road school, while the second, in January 2007, was the highlight of the centenary celebrations.
