Track and trace for Lennensians
THE association’s helpful and dedicated resident Archivist, Bob Childs, has appealed to former KES students to help fill the gaps in his collection of Lennensian magazines.
“Once the Borough Archives reopens I can access all copies 1907 to 1944,” says Bob. “After then I have a complete set to use for research or members’ queries covering 1945 to 1979, except for the following: 1960-64 inclusive: 1975 and the last-ever printed, the combined 1978-79 edition.
“If you can help by donating one or more, lending any for me to photocopy, or sending as a PDF it would be appreciated. Our long-term aim is to digitise the complete set so all members can access them wherever they live, but this will of course take time to arrange and execute.”
