WE are delighted to announce that membership of the Old Lennensian Association has now topped 300.

The 300th member was Adam Hurlock, who was in York house and attended KES from 1964 to 1971. He is well-known to many of the current OLA committee – not least our secretary, Neville Fickling, as the two were great fishing buddies and Adam was present when Nev caught his first record zander of 12 lb 6 oz 8 dr in the summer of 1971. Welcome aboard, Adam!

The 301st member also happens to be our oldest: Frank Tuffs, who celebrates his 100th birthday on February 12.  Frank, who was in Thoresby house and attended from 1932 to 1937, has kept in touch with his old school and even paid a visit in 2015. To mark his milestone birthday, the committee agreed to grant him honorary membership – and wish him many happy returns.

Anyone who attended KES is welcome to join the Old Lennensians Association. Membership cost just £7 and gives you access to our amazing Archives section, which includes fascinating articles and many images, including the annual whole-school photographs. You can join today by navigating to the Membership page. Easy Paypal payments accepted.
