We are sorry to hear of the death of former KES pupil, David Garside, who was later Harbour Master at Lynn from 1967 to 1999.

GARSIDE, Captain David Ware
Passed away peacefully at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on 26th June 2020 aged 81 years. Beloved husband of Christine, much loved father to Nicholas and Gail and grandpa to Eleanor, Ben and Alicia. Former Harbour Master and Chief Executive at King’s Lynn (KLCB) from 1967 – 1999. Donations if desired to parkinsons.org.uk

Archivist Bob Childs adds: Unfortunately we know very little about David’s school career, apart from the bare facts that he Joined KES in 1950, in Form 1B and was in Keene House. If anyone can tell us more about him, please contact us and we can add it here.
