The highlight of the OLA year is the AGM, which all members are invited to attend (and will be very welcome). Unlike most annual general meetings of other organisations, this isn’t a stuffy or boring event. Once the essential business is over, we invariably let our hair down and enjoy meeting the members, old and new, who attend for the social side of things.
For the past two years we have combined the AGM with a full-blown reunion, with hog roast and a licensed bar in the main hall. This year we will definitely be having a social get-together, although it will probably be more informal. Updates will be posted on this site and the OLA Facebook page, so keep your eyes open.
Either way, it is a great excuse to go back to the old place and meet up with fellow ex-pupils — often for the first time in many years. It’s an event not to be missed!
