Diligent readers of Andrew’s Newsletters may remember an interesting article in the Autumn edition of 2020. Contact between Australian descendants of Edgar Hall and Marc Starling was to shed some light on the story behind the 1876 Gold Medal. We have added more details and photographs from public sources to amplify Edgar’s journey through life after his four years at King’s Lynn Grammar School. Some information on one of Edgar’s sons, who became a peer of the realm, has also been included. Perhaps we could have our own series of Who Do You Think You Are linked to a selection of Gold Medal winners?
The article will be found in the Miscellaneous/Other articles section of the Archive (Ed.)
