The first photograph in this set is the A team for 1968-69 which reached the final of this new competition and shared the trophy with Gresham’s School in Holt. They provided the venue for this annual tournament held at the end of the season for A and B teams from participating Norfolk schools.
Our magazine collection suggests that K.E.S. sent teams up to 1974 with a very creditable record of the A team winning in 1968/69, 1970-71 and 1972-73. Additionally both K.E.S. A and B teams in 71-72 were semi-finalists.
We would of course welcome copies of any missing photographs such as the 1969-70 A and B teams; the 1970-71 A team and the 1972-73 and 1973-74 B teams.
