In the coming weeks and months look out for many more team photographs. The Archive section already has some pre-WW2 football teams and we are adding team photographs for hockey and cricket covering the same time period. Later there will be almost complete sets of 1st XI photographs for football, hockey and cricket from the 1950s to the mid-1970s. Wherever possible we have used good quality photographs but if necessary uploaded images scanned from The Lennensian. At least all the team members are recognisable and there is usually the added advantage that their names are listed. Other teams e.g. 2nd XI etc and other sports will be added where we have them, as well as ones from 1980 onwards.
Members with better quality images of the ones posted are encouraged to send them in to us. We shall be pleased of course to receive photographs of other teams or sports too.
A permanent and accessible record will hopefully enable members to share many happy memories.
