Old Lennensians Chairman, Andrew Stephen, has written a superb tribute to legendary History teacher, John Smallwood, who served at the school for 41 years before retiring in 2000, having seen KES transformed from an all-boys’ grammar school to a modern, mixed comprehensive.

John of course was the special guest at last year’s OLA AGM and Reunion. This year’s event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 Lockdown, but hopefully normal service will be resumed in 2020, when we’ll be delighted to welcome the many new members that have joined the association in recent months.
